A mailing list that receives emails and then automatically sends the received email directly to every address that has joined the list.  So if 10 people have joined the list and I send an email to the list about "forgiveness" (or any other topic), that message will go to all 10 people.  If any one of them replies to my message, all 10 people will get that email as well.  This allows everyone to see and join in the discussion.

Listserv is actually a brand name of a commercial product sold by L-Soft International, but the name is used by many to denote all automatic mailing lists (So Listserv is to mailing lists as Coke is to colas or Band-Aids is to bandages).

Using TheArkNY mailing list, you can discuss church events, theological questions, last week's message or any other topic or question that builds up the body of Christ or the kingdom of God.

To join The Ark's listserv, you can enter your email address in the form below and click the "Join Now" button

Or, you can click here to send an email to sign up (if you use Hotmail, Yahoo! or another mail system where you need to send mail from your web browser, you can copy and paste this address into the "To:" field in a new mail message and then send:

You will receive an email asking you to click on a link within 7 days.  Once you click on the link, you can choose to receive messages only or you can use your Yahoo! account to add extra features.  You can choose either option.

Once you have registered, all you need to do is send your emails to TheArkNY@yahoogroups.com and everyone in the listserv will receive your message!
